These battery cyclers are mostly used to charge and discharge batteries on beamlines for in- operando studies. They can also be used to take rough measurements of battery capacity, voltage curves, and other metrics.
Two different cyclers are available. Both are on a mobile cart and controlled by a laptop, so they can be deployed on a beamline or in a lab.
- #1, maximum 50mA 50 mA current output per channel, for smaller capacity batteries.
- #2, maximum 6A 6 A current output per channel, for higher-larger capacity batteries.
