Confluence spaces are great for sharing content and news with your team. This is your home page. Right now it shows recent space activity, but you can customize this page in any way you like.
Complete these tasks to get started
- Edit this home page - Click Edit in the top right of this screen to customize your Space home page
- Create your first page - Click the Create button in the header to get started
- Brand your Space - Click Configure Sidebar in the left panel to update space details and logo
- Set permissions - Click Space Tools in the left sidebar to update permissions and give others access
Confluence is a easy to manage enterprise wiki that enables organization, collaboration and visibility throughout the organization.
The Canadian Light Source uses Confluence for many different purposes and in many different ways. We have found Confluence to be an extremely effective tool for client collaboration, document management, project development, internal communication, and cross-functional knowledge sharing.

Spaces are Confluence's way of organizing content into meaningful categories. Think of it like having different folders into which you can put your work. |
To access specific spaces, in the top menu bar choose 'Spaces', followed by 'Space directory'. You will be taken to a page listing all spaces you have access to.
